The First State Force, Delaware's all Law Enforcement band, received the 8th Annual Arzt Award on Oct. 13, 2004. The award was presented at the Bay Center in Dewey Beach during the opening party for the Rehoboth Beach Autumn Jazz Festival. The Arzt Award honors individuals for their consistent determination and innovative efforts to educate and inspire the young musicians in the community.
